This little and walled town is classified a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is an open-air museum, a mosaic of culture, History and traditions. Here, we will visit the most important monuments: the Roman Temple, the Romanesque-Gothic Cathedral, the Saint Francis Church with its curious Chapel of Bones and the University. We will proceed to the market to discover the richness of natural products used to prepare one of the most appreciated Gastronomies in Portugal. And along this visit, we will also admire the diversity of the local handicraft with cork, ceramic and copper objects. In the afternoon, free time to stroll through these medieval streets.
