On this unforgettable full-day tour, we will set off to discover the beautiful Minho region, known for its beautiful natural landscapes and cities full of history and tradition. We will start in Braga, known for its precious religious and artistic heritage. In Braga, we will visit two of the most important monuments in the north of Portugal: the magnificent Braga Cathedral, considered the oldest in Portugal, and the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte. This sacred sanctuary was built on top of a hill, with a surprising baroque staircase full of symbolic statues and fountains. Afterwards, we'll enjoy a pleasant stroll through the streets of the historic center.
Our tour continues in the medieval city of Guimarães, known as the “ Birthplace of Portugal” because it was the birthplace of the first King of Portugal, Afonso Henriques. Here, we will have the opportunity to visit the imposing castle and its well-preserved historic center, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
