On this Full-Day Tour, we will travel to Fátima first. This is the largest religious place in Portugal, where thousands of pilgrims gather each year to celebrate the divine apparitions of Virgin Mary, in 1917. Even for the most skeptical traveler, this is a marvelous place, with a captivating atmosphere and one of the most important sites in Portugal. In this emblematic and mysterious town, we will visit the Apparitions Chapel, the Church of the Holy Trinity, the famous Basilica and the houses of the Three Shepherd children (at Aljustrel).
In the afternoon, our Tour will proceed to Coimbra, once the Capital of Portugal. This city is known for being the “Student’s City” and we will admire its emblematic University, the oldest in Portugal and listed as UNESCO site. And after a panoramic tour through the main points of Coimbra, we will stroll through the noble historic center and will admire the imposing Cathedral. Return to Porto. End of our services.
