Itinerary
  • Day 1

    Lisbon (arrival)

    In your arrival at Lisbon airport, our driver/guide will give you a warm welcome and will take you to your Hotel. Check-in and accommodation in Lisbon.

  • Day 2

    Lisbon / Sintra / Roca Cape / Cascais / Estoril

    Departure: 09h00 a.m. We will pick you up at your Hotel. Our Full-Day Tour will start in the charming village of Sintra, considered a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Pena Palace will be our first stop. Built in the XIX century on a rock at 500m altitude, this palace is a magnificent example of Portuguese Romanesque architecture. Then we will go down to the historic center, having free time to appreciate the medieval streets of Sintra, to enjoy the landscapes of Sintra mountain and to taste the delicious local sweets. Time for lunch (optional).

    In the early afternoon, we will go to the most westerly point of continental Europe, Roca Cape. We will proceed our journey to the bay of Cascais, our last stop. This place was the former summer residence of Portuguese royal family, where there is a particularly magnificent view over its stunning beaches. And before making the return to Lisbon, we will end our Tour with a panoramic view over Estoril, famous for its casino and stunning gardens around it.

  • Day 3

    Lisbon / Porto

    On this day, our driver will pick you up at the Hotel and will transfer you to the Lisbon-Oriente Railway Station. You will enjoy a fantastic trip by train from Lisbon to Porto. On your arrival at Porto-Campanhã Railway Station, our driver will transfer you to the Hotel. Check-in.  

    In the afternoon, we will discover the characteristic city of Porto, its architecture, culture, gastronomy and the famous Port Wine. This capital of the North is turning heads all over the world and it is now one of the most important destinations in Europe. We will visit majestic and beautiful places, like the Cathedral, The Bolhão Market, the impressive viewpoint of the Serra do Pilar, the pedestrian Santa Catarina Street, Lello bookshop, Clerigos Tower, São Bento Railway Station and its tiles, the Douro riverside area and much more. And we will finish our day with a visit to one of the most famous Port Wine Cellars and an unforgettable Port Wine tasting. Accommodation in Porto.

  • Day 4

    Braga / Guimarães

    Today, our trip will explore the Minho Region, considered the greenest region of Portugal. With impressive natural landscapes, this region is also known for its traditions, customs and History. Our tour will take us to Braga and Guimarães. Braga, Portugal’s third-largest city, is an elegant town laced with ancient narrow lanes closed to vehicles, strewn with plazas and a splendid array of baroque churches. Here, we will discover the magnificence of its Cathedral and the famous Sanctuary of Bom Jesus, with its impressive stairway.

    Then, we will travel to Guimarães, also known as the "Cradle City". A visit to this historic city is worthwhile due to its historic center, the rickety houses and medieval buildings, classified in 2001 as World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. Here, we will visit its imposing Castle, the birthplace of D. Afonso Henriques, first king of Portugal, and we will stroll through its charming streets. Accommodation in Porto.

  • Day 5

    Douro Valley

    Today, we will discover one of the oldest demarcated wine regions in the entire world. Our first stop will be in Amarante, known for its beautiful houses, secular churches and green wine production. In this charming town, we will visit the incredible Church of São Gonçalo and the wonderful streets of the historic centre. Our Tour continue in the Our visit will continue in the Douro Wine Region, famous for its beautiful vineyards, the Douro River and the delicious wines of the Douro and Port wines. After, we will stop at Peso da Régua, a small town in the heart of the Douro Valley, to visit one of the most famous vineyards of this region, where we can taste the delicious Port wine. We will end our trip to Pinhão. Here, we will enjoy a beautiful panoramic cruise, aboard a traditional “Rabelo boat” (typical boat), having the fantastic opportunity to contemplate natural landscapes and beautiful vineyards, which are not visible from national roads. And we will visit also one of the most beautiful stations of the country, located in the heart of the Douro. Its exterior walls are decorated with tile panels, depicting the Port Wine theme. Return to Porto. Accommodation in Porto.

  • Day 6

    Aveiro / Coimbra / Lisbon

    We will start our day discovering the beautiful city of Aveiro with its beautiful waterways and "moliceiros” boats, magnificent Art Nouveau buildings covered in portuguese style tiles and many more wonders. We will stroll through these magnificent streets and have free time to taste the famous "ovos moles”, a typical and famous sweet made with eggs.

    We will continue to Coimbra, the home of one of the oldest universities in Europe and now a thriving modern city. The University has an imposing baroque library and a unique atmosphere characterized by ancient traditions and customs. And its city hall and streets breath History and Culture. And at the end of the day, you will have a private transfer to Coimbra Railway Station and will enjoy a fantastic trip by train to Lisbon. Arrival in Lisbon and private transfer to the Hotel. Accommodation in Lisbon.

  • Day 7

    Óbidos / Nazaré / Batalha / Fátima

    We will pick you up at your Hotel and will travel to Obidos, with its medieval walls, rustic white houses and the rich and varied local traditions. We will stroll through its gorgeous streets and admire the beautiful handicraft. Then we will reach the picturesque and colorful fishing town of Nazare. The waves of this charming town attract hundreds of surfers each here, but Nazare is much more than that. Nazare is the live Tradition and an ode to the hard work of the Portuguese people in the sea. We walk through its narrow streets, admire its furious waves and explore the famed Sítio, where we can find picture-postcard coastal views from the cliffs.

    After this visit, we will proceed to Batalha, and visit its Monastery, a masterpiece of late Gothic architecture, listed as UNESCO site. And in the end of our amazing day, we will visit Fátima, considered one of the biggest Catholic shrines in the world since 1917, when it is believed the Virgin Mary appeared to three shepherd children as they were tending their family's sheep. We will have free time to discover the precious treasures of this magic place.     Return

    After a great breakfast at the Hotel, our driver/guide will transfer you to Lisbon airport. End of our services.
