On this one-day program, our driver/guide will pick you up at your hotel to explore the captivating Douro Valley, one of the oldest wine regions in the world. The landscape is characterized by terraced vineyards of white and red grapes, nestled between two majestic schist mountains and bathed by the magnificent Douro River and its tributaries.
Our first stop will be at a renowned winery in the region, where you will have the opportunity to learn about the wine production process and taste some of the remarkable local wines. Following this, we will have free time for lunch.
In the afternoon, we will embark on a leisurely one-hour cruise along the Douro River, departing from Pinhão and navigating its waters to a point such as Quinta da Romaneira. During the cruise, you will have the chance to appreciate the stunning landscapes of the Douro, providing a unique and memorable experience.
Upon returning to Pinhão, we will explore the charming Railway Station, adorned with magnificent tile panels depicting the theme of Port Wine. Subsequently, we will return to Porto, concluding our services.
